I had a pleasant surprise during my recent stay at the Hostal Valencia in Madrid. The staff was friendly and spoke excellent English, making check-in and communication easy. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of downtown. Despite the noise from the bustling Gran Via main road, the hostal was upfront about the potential noise issues, so it didn't bother me too much. The room may have been small, but it was clean and tidy. The bathroom was compact, but it served its purpose. And even though the room furniture was a bit old, it didn't really bother me as I was focused on exploring the city.

The location of this hotel is superb. It is very close to the metro station, making it easy to move around this city. it is easy to find when you arrive from the metro station. Being close to downtown, it offers convenient access to all the major tourist spots.

Great location on Gran Via near metro and attractions. Basic hotel but clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Good price and helpful staff. Many restaurant options nearby.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the major attractions. It is also easily accessible from the metro station, making it convenient for arrivals. The rooms are clean and comfortable, providing a good place to rest after a busy day of sightseeing. The cleanliness of the hotel could have been better, as there were a few hairs on the floor.
